The wonders of it all....

Okay so now I have become a terrible blogger. But its just when you work 13 hour days...you want to spend your off time PLAYING with your little man..not WRITING about him! But as I always say, I'm gonna try to be better at blogging!

Nicholas has been growing and growing and he amazes me everyday! He has rolled over back to front and front to back...although not consistently. He loves to laugh and talks nonstop! It is so fun seeing his personality develop. He doesn't meet a stranger and he loves the ladies! Oh and how can I forget...HE SLEEPS FROM 7:30 till 6:30/7:00! It is fabulous!!! Although I can vaguely remember sleeping till noon, waking up at 7:00 on Saturday mornings isn't all too bad when his precious face is smiling up at me! He is so happy in the morning! Its almost as if he is saying "Hey you came back for me!" after putting him down at night!




He has been great at daycare and gets so excited the minute you carry him in the daycare door. He has so many friends it is silly! Carter, Walker, Wyatt (although they have yet to really "meet") and so many more! His "girlfriend" Briley came over for Valentines Day and they were so cute together!


I have taken him to the lake twice this year (I can't wait for consistently warm weather!). He absolutely loves it! I am so ready for the summer when we can all go out in the boat. I really think Nicholas will like it!

We have always loved our Saints, and now we are just thrilled they are going to the Super Bowl! Here are some pictures that show our love for the Saints taken throughout the football season!

HOME

Nicholas was in the hospital for a week. He turned three months while we were there! Happy 3 months!!


When we came home that Friday he was so happy!!

One tough little man

Okay this is late. I typed this up a month ago but never posted it!

So over the weekend Nicholas developed a cough and runny nose. He started running a temp on Sunday. Poor thing did NOT feel good. He was agitated and not eating well. I called the dr's office and made an appt yesterday afternoon. They did a chest xray and listened to his chest and checked his ears. He was such a good boy through it all! Needless to say though, he has a right ear infection, rsv, and pneumonia in both lungs! I was shocked and felt so bad for the little man! So now we are in the hospital for a couple of days. Nicholas has been great and flirting with the nurses. I, on the other hand, have been so worried! Hopefully he'll have a speedy recovery and we can go home!

Nicholas Ryan Lee

Okay, so I am extremely behind in posting! We had Nicholas Ryan Lee on October 12th at 8:31 p.m. He has 10 fingers and 10 toes and is absolutely perfect! There were so many family members and friends at the hospital to help welcome him into the world and it meant so much to us! He weighed 7 lbs 7 oz and was 21 1/2 inches long! Since then he has grown so much! We had his one month check up yesterday and he is now 9 lbs 9 oz and 22 inches long. He eats wonderfully and is now only waking up once during the night to eat around 2-3! (which is SO much better than his 1 and 4 feedings the first couple of weeks)! Being a mommy has to be the most rewarding and amazing thing! Ryan and I enjoy every second with Nicholas and are excited about all the things to come! Here are a few pics of our precious baby boy!

Dr visit

So I have been going to the Dr every week on Tuesday for awhile now. This last visit I was really hoping for some progress. Last week I was 50% effaced and had not dilated. This week (37 weeks and 5 days) I was 90% effaced and 2 cm dilated! Yay for progress! She said Nicholas had a good sense of direction and was head down. Hopefully big man is getting ready for his debut into this world! Once again we appreciate all the love and support from family and friends!

Family Shower

Ryan's sisters, sister in law, and cousin hosted a family shower for us. Once again there was great food and a good time! It was so wonderful to have all my family and Ryan's family there to celebrate in this special time with us. Nicholas recieved great gifts and I swear he has more clothes than I do now!! It means so much to us to have all this love and support during this time!
